Commands for managing coteries (vampire groups) and viewing
social standing in Kindred society.
COTERIE OVERVIEW:
Coteries are groups of vampires who band together for mutual
benefit. They share resources and work toward common goals.
VIEWING COTERIE:
+coterie
View your current coterie information.
+coterie/resources
View coterie resources (domain, haven, herd, contacts).
CREATING A COTERIE:
+coterie/create <name>=<description>
Create a new coterie (you become the leader).
Example:
+coterie/create Night Watch=Protectors of the Elysium
MEMBERSHIP MANAGEMENT:
+coterie/invite <character>
Invite someone to join your coterie.
+coterie/join <leader>
Accept an invitation to join a coterie.
+coterie/leave
Leave your current coterie.
Examples:
+coterie/invite Bob
+coterie/join Alice
LEADERSHIP COMMANDS: (Coterie leader only)
+coterie/promote <character>
Promote a member to lieutenant rank.
+coterie/demote <character>
Demote a lieutenant to regular member.
+coterie/kick <character>
Remove a member from the coterie.
+coterie/disband
Disband the entire coterie (cannot be undone).
Examples:
+coterie/promote Alice
+coterie/kick Bob
COTERIE RESOURCES: (Leader only)
+coterie/resource <type>=<value>
Set a coterie resource value (0-5).
Resource Types:
- domain - Territory controlled by the coterie
- haven - Shared haven quality
- herd - Shared feeding sources
- contacts - Shared information network
Example:
+coterie/resource domain=3
+coterie/resource haven=2
COTERIE RANKS:
Leader
- Created the coterie or was promoted
- Can invite/kick members
- Can promote/demote members
- Can set resources
- Can disband coterie
Lieutenant
- Trusted members
- May have special privileges (per ST)
Member
- Standard membership
- Benefits from shared resources
SOCIAL STANDING:
+social
+social <character>
View comprehensive social standing.
Shows in one view:
- Status (political standing in sect)
- Boons (favors owed and held)
- Coterie membership
Examples:
+social # View your own social standing
+social Alice # View Alice's public social info
SOCIAL MECHANICS:
Social standing in V5 is determined by:
Status
Political power within your sect (Camarilla, Anarch, etc.)
Gained through positions, actions, and recognition.
Boons
Favors owed to or held over other Kindred.

Coterie
Strength in numbers - coterie resources can supplement
individual weaknesses.
