+effects/clear all # Remove all effects
  +effects/tick # Advance turn counter

EFFECT DURATIONS:

Scene:
Effect lasts until the current scene ends.
Typically 1 hour of real time or until the story moves on.

Turns:
Effect lasts a specific number of combat turns.
Use +effects/tick to advance the turn counter.
Effect expires when turns reach 0.

Permanent:
  Effect remains until manually cleared.
Usually toggleable powers that the vampire maintains.

EFFECT TYPES:

Effects can modify various aspects of your character:

bonus_dice - Extra dice to specific rolls
defense_bonus - Increased defense in combat
  damage_reduction - Reduced incoming damage
  speed_bonus - Enhanced movement/initiative
  sensory - Enhanced perception abilities
  stealth - Concealment effects

The specific parameters depend on the discipline power used.

HOW EFFECTS ARE CREATED:

Effects are automatically created when you activate discipline
powers using +power. Not all powers create lasting effects -
some are instant (like dealing damage) or passive (always on).

Powers that typically create effects:
  - Celerity (speed bonuses)
  - Fortitude (damage reduction)
  - Obfuscate (concealment)
  - Presence (social bonuses)
  - Protean (physical changes)

MANAGING YOUR EFFECTS:

1. Check active effects before important rolls
2. Note effect IDs for reference
3. Track turn-based effects during combat
4. Ask ST to clear effects when scenes end

Tip: Effects from the same power don't stack. Activating a
power again will replace the existing effect.
